The owners of this home in Sant Quirze del Vallès had a garden with abundant vegetation and several areas that required constant maintenance. Their priority was to transform the space into a much cleaner, more organized, and visually appealing garden, but above all one that would not require them to spend a large part of their free time taking care of it. They wanted a practical garden with a more minimalist aesthetic, designed to be enjoyed without worries.
Before
The project was based on simplifying the space and reducing maintenance-intensive areas as much as possible, creating clean surfaces and using durable materials. To achieve this, solutions such as artificial grass, porcelain paving, and synthetic wood elements were chosen, combined with decorative gravel areas that add visual order and texture to the overall design. Some existing elements were also redesigned to improve comfort and the everyday use of the garden.
The project included the installation of artificial grass to create a uniform green surface with no need for watering or mowing. The pool area was renovated by creating a platform with new, more comfortable stair access, and the pool shell was finished with beige porcelain, giving it a more modern and elegant appearance.
The porch area was also expanded to allow the installation of two pergolas, creating a larger outdoor space intended for dining and a chill-out area. Garden lighting was resolved with fixtures from the manufacturer Hoflights, allowing the space to be enjoyed at night as well.
At the entrance, the planting beds were reorganized with decorative stone, reducing maintenance while creating a more orderly appearance. Finally, a Supradeck synthetic decking fence was installed, adding privacy and warmth to the overall design without requiring maintenance.
The result is a much more functional garden with clean lines, designed to enjoy the outdoors without having to devote time to its upkeep.
