A house more than 15 years old with a large outdoor area containing a swimming pool.
There was a large worn-out artificial grass zone, several neglected planted areas, an unused steep slope, and overgrown vegetation encroaching from the neighbouring plot.
The old irrigation system was in poor condition and did not reach all the necessary parts of the site.
The pine trees and other existing plants needed care and pruning to improve their shape.
The fencing mesh was rusty and needed replacing.
The driveway leading to the garage needed renovation.
The wall surrounding the site had damaged finishes and needed refurbishing to restore its original colour and appearance.
Lighting was insufficient in several areas, the existing points were outdated and needed replacing, and the whole system was not energy efficient.
In the areas with natural lawn, the species present had an aggressive growth pattern with very deep rhizomes.
Before
To improve the overall lighting system and create a soft, warm, and pleasant atmosphere throughout the site, installing a new electrical network for all the new light points.
To install a new automatic drip irrigation system to optimise water use.
In the artificial grass area, to extend the lawn to the pool and its surroundings, remove the existing turf, level it in relation to the pool, and install a new premium-grade artificial grass suitable for intensive sports use and resistant to pool chemicals.
In the areas with natural lawn, to remove the vegetation layer and another 25 cm of soil, define the area with reclaimed railway sleepers, add fresh clean topsoil, and lay new natural turf.
To renovate part of the driveway from the gate to the garage, as well as sections of the wall finish.
To make the service door below the pool less visible and more attractive by covering it with a wooden lattice that also extends onto the wall, allowing a climber to grow over it.
To replace the side fence mesh with new green plastic-coated mesh.
To prune existing vegetation, remove unnecessary elements, and plant new species selected according to the climate, site conditions, and the client’s wishes.
The football area was renewed and enlarged, the lighting and automatic irrigation systems were replaced, and several existing planted zones were redesigned. The garden was restored and partially reconstructed. We brought new life into the space, making the garden flourish again and turning time spent there into a pleasure, in line with the client’s wishes and with the professional criteria of the JadeJardi team.
